Tilton River

The Tilton River is a tributary of the Cowlitz River, in the U.S. state of Washington. Named for territorial surveyor James Tilton,[1] its entire course is contained in Lewis County, Washington.[2]

Course

The Tilton River originates in the Cascade Range just north of Mount St. Helens and west of Mount Rainier. It flows south and west, joining the Cowlitz River in Mayfield Lake, near Mossyrock. The Tilton river is a good fish source mostly Rainbow Trout and other Trouts
